Here is an example of polluted water caused by the release of fine clay silts due to the gouging of the lakebed that is not allowed under the developer's permit from the county. Destruction of the lakebed and the resulting loss of scenic value to the area caused by construction of a private bridge to Dockstader Island on the north shore of Flathead Lake in Bigfork, Montana, in violation of the state's Lakeshore Protection Act, as photographed on May 20, 2015.
